Instructor Showcase
I have been asked: “Why an Argentine tango instructor show case at the Tucson Tango Festival?” Here is my answer: Why not? I think this will be a great way for new talent find its way onto the Argentine tango circuit.
I look for instructors that are community builders.
Instructors that have original methods of turning he student on to tango, not just teaching some Argentine tango, but spreading the joy, love and respect for tango.
I like to see instructors that dance with the community.
I want instructors that love Argentine tango and are out there looking for a cabeceo.
If I see someone in my travels that fills this bill I plan to invite them to our festival and at least showcase them on Thursday opening day – who knows maybe this will extend to Wednesday next year.
