Finding Accomodations

Visiting for the Tucson Tango Festival: Finding Accommodations

The 2012 Tucson Tango Festival is inching closer as the 2011 months wind to a close. With this five day event on the horizon, attendees are starting to map out their plans. While local residents will be able to head back to their Tucson apartments and homes, visitors won’t be able to have the same luxury.

Luckily, there are some great options for visitors with the 2011 Tucson Tango Festival. Festival attendees will have a great opportunity to receive some discounts on local lodging throughout the week. No matter the length of visit or stay, primary accommodations can be made through The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Airport North. Discounted room rates can be acquired by mentioning the code TFF during the setup of reservations. A standard room will run only $89 while a suite with two queen beds will run only $119. Reservations can be made by telephone with a Holiday Inn representative and payment can be completed through mail as well.

Another option out of town festival attendees will have is to stay in local housing with some great volunteers from the Tucson area. These people have joyfully offered up their homes to festival attendees and allow you the chance to stay with like-minded tango enthusiasts in Tucson. The process of finding a home and hosts can be kick started by a visit to the local housing page where an application and form can be filled out and filed. Depending on an assortment of characteristics such as gender, arrival and length of stay, you may be able to get matched up for a great staying situation for the week of the 2012 Tucson Tango Festival.

Outside of our primary hotel and housing opportunities, there are also other accommodations depending on what exactly you are looking for. A location specific hotel may be a requirement depending on where you’re coming from and if you’re visiting someone. Also, you may prefer to stay in a Tucson area bed and breakfast as opposed to a hotel. Either way, the Tucson area offers up a full slate of accommodation options for visitors.

As October draws to a close, the Tucson Tango Festival is merely about five months away. As the festival gets closer, you will want to iron out all of your accommodation options in advance. The sooner you take care of your reservations and plans, the better chance there will be for deals and full availability. Go ahead and take care of your accommodation plans now, then you can totally look forward to a week full of dancing, education and entertainment in Tucson.
